Role Context
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Developer Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. You will be working closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications that meet their needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
- Be able to debug and retest scenarios raised by clients during the provision of support services
- Design, develop, and implement customizations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
- Configure and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet client requirements
- Analyze client requirements and provide technical guidance and expertise
- Keep up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central technologies and best practices
- Participate in project planning, scoping, and estimation
- Develop and maintain technical specifications documentation
- Learn / work on technologies linked to D365 Business Central such as Power Platform including D365 F&O Entity Store, D365 F&O Electronic Reporting, SSRS reports Power Apps, Power BI and other components of the MSFT ecosystem

- Lifecycle Services
- Branching Strategies
- Maintaining Cloud Environments
- Packaging code deployments and upgrades
- Managing deployments across multiple environments
- Demonstrate knowledge of the DevOps process for development
- Demonstrate capability to design, develop and manage integrations with 3rd party systems
- Support upgrades from DynamicsNAV to D365 Business Central
- Support Data migration experiences by writing automated scripts for Migration from DynamicsNAV
Liaise with Functional Consultants to determine the optimal technical pathway to achieve client business
outcomes - Work as part of a Project Team delivering implementation projects utilising a hybrid combination of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Demonstrate strong individual time management skills
- Demonstrate willingness to step in and adopt a hands-on approach to assist the project team when required
- Demonstrate solution orientated thinking to be able to work with project teams to determine solutions to
problems. - Translate and simplify technical requirements and align them to D365 Business Central and best practices
- Achieve required certifications
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.

Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development and customization
- Strong knowledge of C/SIDE, C/AL, AL, and Visual Studio Code
- Experience with SQL Server and Azure cloud technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications
- Experience with Dynamics NAV, Dynamics Business Central or other ERP systems
- Experience with PowerApps and Power BI
